4.1 Validation Through Numerical and Experimental
Comparison
A comparison between the experiments and simulations is done for the generated drag
when placed in upright position (by considering the upward motion of the quadcopter
as shown in Fig. 7). Figure 8 shows the streamlines with velocity contours for the
simulation. Table 3 gives the comparison of the drag force value as seen in the wind
