already starting to restrain cyber-monopolists, may still redirect the nascent AI to
more trivial and servile tasks. I don’t mean to prophesy but my feeling is that in the
end biology and electrochemistry, the material union of software and hardware in
a self-contained individual, as a more resilient base of cognition, will win over one
way or another, in the best case, by honing the molecular machinery of life, and in
the worst, by rebooting evolution from an earlier stage.
