About the Editor
Dr. C. Gopi Mohan is Incharge, Bioinformatics and Computational Biology
Laboratory, Center for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine, Amrita Vishwa
Vidyapeetham, Kochi. He graduated with a Ph.D. degree from Banaras
Hindu University, Varanasi. He gained experience as Postdoctoral Fellow from
Molecular Biophysics Unit at IISc, Bangalore, and as Research Officer from
Department of Biology and Biochemistry, University of Bath, UK. Further, he
worked as Associate Researcher of CNRS, University Henri Poincare, Nancy,
France. During his research career, he visited different countries which include UK,
Canada, France, Finland, and USA.
He has supervised many Ph.D. and postgraduate students and completed
different research and industrial consultancy projects. He has published more than
80 peer-reviewed research papers and chapters and is Active Reviewer of
international/national journals, thesis, and grants. His research interests are
Computational Biology & Structural Bioinformatics, Structure-Based Drug Design,
Protein Crystallography, and Nanoinformatics. He is Member of the Indian
Biophysical Society and the American Chemical Society. He was Invited Speaker
for different international conferences and recently was awarded ICMR-Senior
Biomedical Scientist International Fellowship.
