Xianhai Yang is Lecturer at the Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NJUST). His
major areas of research include: (a) testing and evaluating the endocrine-disrupting effect of
emerging organic pollutants; (b) development of in silico models and software for chemical risk
assessment, classification, and labeling; (c) ecological and health risk assessment of emerging
organic pollutants. Dr. Yang received his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Dalian University of Technology in 2014. He worked in Nanjing Institute of Environmental Science, Ministry
of Environmental Protection during 2014–2017, and joined NJUST in 2018.
Huihui Liu is Associate professor at the Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NJUST).
Her research interests include: (a) development and application of new passive sampling technology; (b) environmental behavior and toxicological effects of microplastics; (c) computational
simulation study on the eco-toxicological effects of organic pollutants. In 2014, Dr. Liu received
her Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and then
joined NJUST.
Rebecca Kusko is the SVP and Head of R&D at Immuneering Corporation. She completed her
undergraduate degree at MIT in Biological Engineering and earning a Ph.D. in Genetics and
Genomics from BU before joining Immuneering in 2014. At Immuneering, she has been accelerating pharma R&D using advanced algorithms. Additionally, she is a board member of the MAQC
Society, an initiative around best practices for big data analysis.
