(3) Simulation Log.
The “Experiment Browser” and “Simulation Log” windows can be dragged anywhere in the main window of the Simulation Center, or you can create floating
windows. The graphing window can be dragged into the main window, but it cannot
be made floating.
If there are errors in the report model, then there is an error message in the report
model. For more information about the Simulation Log report window, see reference
[1].
If the graph window is open, it will be regularly updated during the experiment
with the values of the selected variables in the Experiment Browser. This allows you
to see intermediate simulation results until it is complete.
If the model does not contain annotations relating to the experiment, all new
experiments when they are created will go with the default settings of the experiment,
as shown in Fig. 2.11.
2.3.1 Experiment Browser
Experiment Browser is used to view the characteristics of the experiment and their
changes. The window of any experiment has four tabs for different characteristics:
• Plot view—Here, you can choose which variables and parameters to plot on the
chart.
• Parameters view—Here, you can edit the values of the parameters of the
experiment.
• Variables view—Here, you can set the initial values for state variables.
• Settings view—It contains all the settings for the experiment.
To change the browser view, click the appropriate tab at the top of the browser.
