climate change. The awareness of the situation and the problems it entails, not to
mention the agency demonstrated in front of such issues, are what make the Pacific
Climate Warriors protagonists of a new form of grassroots globalization. It is through
the appropriation of Western discourse, implemented and enriched by their cultural
heritage, that they can attract the public and media attention to spread their message
and try to solve the climate crisis in the Pacific.
