4 Conclusion
This chapter contains various techniques that are available and can be utilized for
impactful nanotechnology research. Researchers can confidently choose from the
quantum of available characterization techniques relevant for their studies. In most
studies, a few numbers of techniques can be combined to ensure a meaningful
research. Characterization involving spectroscopy (such as UV-visible, FTIR, XRD,
EDS), microscopy (SEM, TEM, AFM), and thermal (such as TGA and DTA) are
mostly encountered in studies involving nanomaterials. Large number of references
provided can also serve as sources of information, especially when more details about
a specific characterization technique is required.
