11.6 Solar Everywhere
Besides the straightforward integration of solar PV into buildings and the deployment
of floating PV installations, to save on the consumption of land and to avoid conflicts
with other land uses, solar PV can be in principle integrated everywhere. We present
below a couple of examples of solar PV integrated into existing infrastructures (Boxes
11.12, 11.13 and 11.14), into a solar car park (Box 11.15) and in a rural environment
(Box 11.16).
