Mauro Pravettoni is Senior Research Fellow at the National
University of Singapore. Since 2017 he leads the Module
Characterization & Reliability Laboratory of the Solar Energy
Research Institute of Singapore, the leading testing laboratory of
South East Asia. Mauro obtained his PhD at the Imperial College, London. He is a member of the International Electrotechnical Commission and of the British Society for the Philosophy
of Science. Assessor of ISO/IEC 17025 for the competence of
testing and calibration laboratories, Mauro has worked at ESTI,
Joint Research Centre of European Commission, the European
centre of reference for PV testing. In 2008, he characterized the
world record efficiency luminescent solar concentrator. Mauro is
a member of the international committee for the scientific conference at SNEC, the International Photovoltaic Power Generation Conference and the world’s largest PV fair, in Shanghai.
