C Holography
the hologram has some information of every object point. This non locality and
redundancy makes using a holographic model of brain memory attractive. We know
we can look through a small segment of a hologram and still see the object, although
it may look fuzzy and you can no longer see around the object by moving your head
side-to-side. Thus, destruction of a good fraction of a hologram still allows recovery
of some complete information. This is similar to our brain memory, in that each part
of our memory does not depend on the survival of a single neuron. A pattern of brain
waves stimulated by recalling a memory may have been created by an interference
pattern among the synapses.
