5 Summary
In the past decade, visible light-driven organic photochemical reactions have become
established as a powerful tool for modern synthetic chemistry. In particular, the joint
use of organometallic photocatalysts and chiral organocatalysis offers new synthetic
routes to enantioenriched molecules. In this article, recent advances have been summarized according to the activation mode of the chiral organocatalysts. We believe
that more new chemical transformations will appear owing to the unique manner in
which visible light photocatalysis generates reactive intermediates under mild conditions. New chiral catalysts possessing organocatalysis and photocatalysis functions
