Chapter 3
Wind Energy
Abstract Global environmental vulnerability has become the crucial issue due to
greenhouse gas concentration in the atmosphere by burning fossil fuel. It is causing
the sea-level rising, ocean acidification, and ozone layer depletion and threating the
public and animal health. Hence, the evolution of renewable energy over the past
decade has shown great promising since it is abundantly available anywhere in the
world and can be utilized as an alternative clean energy source in every sector of our
daily lives. This chapter, therefore, provides a model for simulating wind energy
abundance and its application as a source of clean energy to mitigate global energy
demand and environmental vulnerability and perplexity. Simply, in this research,
the wind energy abundance has been analyzed mathematically in order to determine
the use of wind energy to confirm a realistic assessment of this energy for application commercially in every sector by appropriate operation and control strategy and
technology. This integrated model is thus statistically clarified by mathematical
simulation where results suggest that wind energy indeed would be the alternative
source of renewable energy to mitigate global energy crisis which is benign to the
environment.

Introduction
On the outside of the earth, wind comprises the mass development of air. Wind is
ordinarily ordered by their spatial scale, their speed, the sorts of powers that cause
them, the areas where they occur, and the impact on its surrounding area [1, 2].
Winds have different dynamics: speed (wind speed); the thickness of the gas in
question; vitality substance; or wind vitality. In meteorology, winds are regularly
alluded to as indicated by their quality, and its heading from which the breeze is
blowing. Its short explosions of rapid breeze are named blasts while solid breezes of
