Energy
The global atmosphere is now getting to a seriously dangerous level due to increasement of all aspects of the carbon cycle in the atmosphere which has become a major
problem due to the conventional energy usages in the urban area and thus urban air
toxicity due to volatile organic compounds, sulfur oxide, nitrogen oxide, as well
airborne pollutant substances generating photochemical smog, air pollution, and
deadly chlorofluorocarbon which are causing severe effects on urban habitants and
the earth’s atmosphere and environment [13, 14]. Therefore, deurbanization and
rural development is a must where renewable energy system is available to serve the
needs of the present habitant without compromising the ability of future generations
to meet their needs and thus rural area is the best place to confirm this option.
Simply utilization of this renewable energy for the deurbanization and rural development will naturally refill on a scale time, and thus this sustainable energy supply
will not jeopardize the system within which it is implemented to an extent of being
unfit to offer needs in the coming days [15, 16]. Thus, three principles of deurbanization and rural development would be very much related to the sustainability that
encompasses the four major interrelated domains: (1) culture, (2) politics, (3) economics, and (4) ecology. Here, the technologies will promote the utilization of sustainable energy including renewable energy sources for rural development, such as
hydroelectricity, solar energy, wind energy, wave power, geothermal energy, and
bioenergy, to confirm abundant clean energy source to secure an environmentally
friendly global ecosystem.
Housing and Building
Subsequently, the focus on rural housing and building all over the world must be
identified to reduce the consumption of very large portions of natural resources
including water and energy. In the present day, the housing and building from the
urban community are responsible for 40% of worldwide CO 2 emissions, which is
equal to nine billion carbon dioxide tons yearly and by 2050 these emissions are
likely to double and thus the urban area will get severely polluted [17–19]. It is
essential for one to think through the clean housing and building to rural development to attain ecologically friendly building and energy efficiency which eventually
will combine a massive collection of skills, approaches, and practices to cut and
finally eliminate the adverse environment impacts which needs plenty of space [20,
21]. Consequently, the rural development will have the sustainable housings and
buildings that will conform to the environmentally friendly resource-efficient lifestyle. Simply, the sustainable housing and building development for rural development will have several drives including social, economic, and environmental
benefits. Thus, considering energy efficiency, toxic and waste reduction, maintenance and operation optimization of rural development, interior environmental
