principles and features of several methods powerful for investigating the electrochemo-mechanical properties of solid electrode surfaces.
2.2 Piezoelectric Detection of Differential Surface Stress
Gokhshtein [2–4] is the pioneer to measure the differential surface stress of a solid
electrode by using a device consisting of mechanically connected piezoelectric plate
and over-meniscus working metal electrode. Figure 2.1 shows the experimental setup
of the device for measuring the differential surface stress (simultaneously at two
