1.9 Future Research
In future research, a more detailed and specific inventory of sustainable design strategies in each theme and category of products is needed to identify new features for
more innovative sustainable product design.
This inventory could support and facilitates industrial designers to demonstrate
their potential creativity and innovation skill during the conceptualization or idea
generation process stage of a sustainable product development.
