Conclusion
From the results of this study, the main source of income of the indigenous community in Kampung Sungai Berua, Hulu Terengganu, came from the sale of forest products such as herbs, rattan and agarwood, as well as hunted animals like fish, barking
deer, mouse deer, sambar deer, porcupines and pangolins. The indigenous community
had their own traditional in-depth knowledge in preserving the sustainability of forest
plants and animals. Plants were only harvested after careful inspection and consideration of its maturity. Whereas, hunting was carried out only when needed.
