In addition to these facilities, Natura Glamping also has a common area, games
room, a tour desk and an outdoor pool. From the top of the mountain, Natura
Glamping offers:
• Yoga classes (individual or group);
• Relaxation and reflexology massage (by appointment);
• Infantil: Children’s space for the little ones;
• Pedestrian trails;
• Mountain bike or segway;
• Canoeing;
• Balloon flights or horseback riding;
• Cultural visits to Aldeias do Xisto, Historic Villages, Theme Houses, Serra da
Estrela or, for example, picnicking (Fig. 4).
5.2 Nomad Planet
Nomad Planet offers panoramic views of the Peneda-Gerês National Park and offers
traditional nomadic accommodation, known as yurts, in Fiães do Rio. Guests are
accommodated in round ecological tents, as shown in Fig. 5. These feature a stove
in the centre and are decorated according to the accommodation’s theme.
The bathrooms, the kitchen and the lounge area are shared between guests, as
well as barbecue facilities, even though there is the possibility of meals being served
in the yurt itself (Fig. 6).
The hotel offers canoeing, paragliding and cycling activities. The Paradela Dam
is located less than 5 min by car and offers numerous water activities, in order to
contribute to the consumer’s experience at the destination (Fig. 7).
