3.33 Ligularia oligonema Handel-Mazzetti
Two samples were collected in Yunnan Province, China, and their chemical constituents were analyzed (Plate 27, Table 41). From a sample collected in Jianchuan
County, Yunnan Province (sample 1), the 10-OH-furanoeremophilanes 228, 243,
245, and 246 were isolated [130, 151]. From a second sample from Lushui County
(sample 2), the 10H-furanoeremophilanes 187, 188, and 194 were obtained together
with a 10-OH derivative (243) [130]. LC-MS analysis indicated that sample 2
included a greater variety of furanoeremophilanes than sample 1.
