CWU green is crop Green water use and ER is Effective Rainfall
3 Results and Discussion
In the proposed methodology, ICTs are the basic tool used to collect, process the
information about water use and manage irrigation in real time. It is used to provide a
verifiable and precise inventory of water use based on quality data aimed at improving
irrigation water management of two crops cultivated according to the principles of
industrial agriculture.
3.1 Irrigation Management Supported by ICT Applications
The irrigation management conditions the values of CWU green , CWU blue as well
as yield at the end of the crop, when no other problem occurs (e.g. plagues or
plant diseases). The application of the developed IDSS to manage precise irrigation
