water quality of a certain stream has little impact on the village. A certain stream
and G stream pass through Huzhong and Hushan villages in Huanxi Town, and
Longtou and Shanxi natural villages are in the lower reaches. There are large tracts
of flat cultivated land along the stream, which belong to the natural villages of
Houwei, Xiamin, Longtou, Dayang and Shanyangkeng, etc., with a total population
of about 1700. Its cultivated land is 8–14 km away from the landfill, which is a
sensitive area affected by sewage from the landfill.

This chapter collects the daily monitoring well data of groundwater downstream the
Landfill Phase I Project from an environmental monitoring station in a city of a
province in Southeast China in 2012, which allows the analysis of the environmental quality of groundwater downstream of the overall landfill project. See
