③ Low content of heavy metal
There are a variety of heavy metal ions in certain landfill leachate, and the accumulated amount of heavy metals brought out by leachate accounts for about 0.5–
6.5% of the total amount brought in by refuse. A small part of the trace heavy metal
in the refuse enter the leachate, the concentration of which is closely related to the
type, composition and time of the landfill refuse, and the refuse itself has strong
adsorption capacity for heavy metal (Fig. 5.39).
