The indicators specified in the Quality Standards for Groundwater (GB/
T14848–2017) are used for groundwater quality assessment, including ammonia,
iron, manganese and 15 indicators (excluding all undetected indicators). Where the
limits are the same for indicators of different water quality grades, the superior
grade shall prevail (Grade I for undetected indicators). The results of
indicator-specific evaluation and comprehensive evaluation are as shown in
Tables 5.43 and 5.44 respectively.
As shown in Table 5.43, only one of the ten groups of samples exceed the
fluoride limit, while the rest meet the standards, largely Grade I standards, for other
17 indicators.
According to the comprehensive evaluation results (Table 5.44), among the ten
groups of groundwater samples, the one taken at monitoring well #1 is classified
into Grade IV (relatively poor) as it only reaches Grade IV standard for fluoride.
