indicators detected at monitoring well #3 are identified as the characteristic indicators of the landfill, and then samples of other monitoring wells are tested and
analyzed (Table 5.39).
(3) Groundwater environmental assessment
(a) Determination of background values
The background values of the landfill are determined based on the water quality
data of monitoring well #1, as shown in Table 5.40.
(b) Test results for groundwater quality
The groundwater quality is tested in accordance with the Method for Determination
of Groundwater Quality (DZ/T0064.2–1993). The test results by indicators are as
shown in Table 5.41.
(c) Groundwater quality assessment
The study area is the main source that recharges groundwater in the alluvial-pluvial
fan. In accordance with the Quality Standards for Groundwater (GB/T14848–
2017), the standard index method described in Sect. 2.2.7 is used for
indicator-specific evaluation and comprehensive evaluation of groundwater quality
in the study area.
