25.4 Summary and Outlook
25.4.1 Summary
This paper has presented interactions among stakeholders in the life cycle of small
electric and electrical equipment, which are based on the interview from the manufacturers and recyclers in Japan, which characterizes complexity of the interactions
among the stakeholders across product life cycle. Based on the description of the
product life cycle, this paper has presented a life cycle model that can analyze a variation on the costs and effects of such interactions. The model has been used to define
the internal and external requirements of the information management system to
deal with product-related information and evaluate the model regarding the external
requirements.
25.4.2 Outlook
Considering limitations of the proposed model, which will be reviewed later, this
study can be extended from at least following aspects:
