for Guests’ Well-Being
Milica Ranˇ ci´ c Demir, Marko D. Petrovi´ c, and Ivana Bleši´ c
1 Introduction
Spa and wellness centres have been growing annually, and a healthy approach to
lifestyle is increasingly accepted all over the globe (Velayuthan et al. 2019). Nowadays, due to a fast lifestyle, which results in less free time, stress is always present in
people’s everyday lives, and it has a negative impact on the physical and psychological health of every individual. That is precisely what influenced the development of
wellness tourism as one of the most significant trends in modern tourism (Prasad and
Shimizu 2018). Health is, assuredly, one of the most important factors that enable a
normal functioning life of every individual. Modern society is getting more and more
aware of this fact, which results in the increased concern for physical appearance,
nutrition, physical activity, etc. Due to all these reasons, a lot of tourism facilities
and destinations create environments for the preservation and improvement of health
