28 countries, visualizing how far countries are from their respective environmental
boundaries. Multiple regression analysis shows that the worldwide unsustainability
of carbon emissions is largely driven by economic development, while resource
endowments play a central role in explaining national performance on water and
land use.
Chapter 7 presents a summary of conclusions, followed by reflections and
recommendations for future work.
