7 Water Quality in Main Dam Reservoirs in Poland

continuous monitoring of physical and chemical parameters of water, which gives
new possibilities and prospects for a better assessment of water quality.
Constant monitoring of the physical and chemical properties of water can be
carried out using automatic multi-parameter probes. Continuous monitoring of physical and chemical parameters of water shows seasonal and even daily fluctuations of
the observed indicators.
Measurements with the use of automatic probes provide continuous access to
results that are largely independent of weather, season, time of day or meteorological conditions. They also point to new possibilities in the area of water quality
monitoring—they improve the possibility of proper interpretation of the values.
