Afterwards, 2.25 grams of Spirulina powder were combined with 2.25 grams of gelatin and
added to 160ml of 1% glycerol solution.
Then the solutions were stirred while heated at 95ºC for 1h. The mixture was poured into a
silicone mold, spread into thin layers and left to dry in an ambient temperature for 3 days.
After drying, the bioplastic was removed from the silicone mold and underwent qualitative
analysis.
