Optimization and Evaluation of Chitin and Chitosan Extraction Methods:
The primary objective of this experiment was to evaluate and optimize three distinct methods
for chitin and chitosan extraction (Table 13), the study aimed to determine the optimal
conditions for chitosan extraction by considering variations in acid and base concentrations,
temperature, duration, drying, and cleaning processes.
