III.5. Simulations and results
III.5.1. Simulation Scenario
After identifying the penalizing wave directions and calculating extreme events in the previous
chapter, a methodology was employed to determine the maximum wave height associated with
each return period for the four critical directions. Additionally, the analysis considered the
projected sea level rise as outlined in the IPCC 2019 report. The resulting wave and current data
for these directions are presented in Table III-6.
