III.1. Study methodology
The information required to create a comprehensive vulnerability assessment consists of both
qualitative and quantitative data, which are often accessible in various scales.
The methodology of this work (figure 7) consists of several basic steps aimed at identifying the
risks and hazards of the study area and achieving the objectives of the assessment of Coastal
erosion, Socioeconomic and environmental vulnerability.
