6.13 Change the Graph’s Aspect Ratio
Whether a graph is to occupy the entire screen, or just a fraction of it (assuming
room is shared with other elements, maybe an image or a bullet list), you should aim
at optimizing its size by having it match the room available on the screen.
There is no rule stating that original graphs used in test reports, papers or even in
previous presentations should be used as is. If your original graph has a rectangular
shape, but the room available on the screen is actually a square, change the aspect
ratio of your graph to become a square! Ideally, do this within whatever graphgenerating software you normally use.
