Do You Use Too Many Animations?
You might have heard that too many animations is bad. Indeed, too many “bad”
animations is bad. I mean, the crazy animations involving text and images flying all
around the screen or appearing in funny ways. Again, avoid those.
Only use “appear” and “disappear”, as suggested in Sect. 3.1. If you only use
those two, and you apply them so that visual information is provided exactly when
needed, you NEVER use too many animations.
Actually, when reviewing your presentation, always ask yourself: could I add
MORE animations to ensure visual info is provided exactly when needed? Or to
better introduce complex graphs?
