Fig. 11.6 The synoptic scheme of the Hydrographic Basin Moldova
from 6 sections are given by beneficiaries and it is necessary for the hydrological
balance calculations.
Each of the two hydrological stations monitors a representative hydrographic
basin: The Trebes-Negel Representative Basin—HS Bacau and The Superior Trotus
Basin—HS Onesti. The basin with the most sections of observations and hydrometric measurements is the Trebes-Negel Representative Basin that has 11 sections.
The Superior Trotus Representative Basin has 7 monitoring sections. At the Bacau
Hydrological Station, there are two soil evaporimetric stations: Buhusi, located in
the Bistrita River Basin; Racatau in the Siret River Basin (Figs. 11.7 and 11.8).
The last Water Management System that is part of the Siret Water Basin Administration is WMS Vrancea. It has only one hydrological station subordinated, Focsani
Hydrological Station. The station has a considerable number of hydrometric stations,
respectively 24. From the total of hydrometric stations, only 2 are with level recordings, 9 determine observations and measurements of the level and flow, 11 with level,
water flow and alluvial flow determinations and 2 with level measurements, adjusted
flow, and reconstituted flow (one also registers suspension flow). From a total of 60
springs monitored, the Focsani Hydrological Station measures only 22 of these (the
most of the Siret River Basin) (Fig. 11.9).
The Siret Water Basin Administration (Bacau) has undergone modernization for
the hydrometric network by automatic stations. Automated stations are called AHSS
(Automated Hydrological Sensor Station) and can transmit hydrological data to the
