Sorority is a gender political pact between women, and it means friendship between
different women and peers, accomplices who set out to work, create, and convince,
there is no hierarchy, but a recognition of the authority of each single woman
(Lagarde 2009). This concept is inspired by solidarity practices between women,
friends, neighbors, or relatives and it is recognized by the members of the group
through the CONANP

officials, who intervene when it is necessary to remember
the value of the voice of each woman (Fig. 11.3). Even without developing feminist
political consciousness, they build relationships of mutual support and trust, not
always conscious that this serves to sustain themselves within the patriarchal system
(Royo et al. 2017).
Communication and teamwork skills are related to each other, since the development of communication between the women promotes teamwork. The women of
the group recognize that the dialogue has allowed them to reach agreements and
resolve misunderstandings:
-Hablar las cosas
-El diálogo
-¿Qué nos han hecho? Que nos han juntado y sabes que hay que hablar aquí las cosas
que no estamos contentas...
-¿Qué andar hablando las cosas allá? Las cosas se arreglan aquí…
