1 Introduction
On October 2, 2014, the (SBM) Swachh Bharat Mission was commenced by Prime
Minister Narendra Modi. The slogan of the mission is one step toward cleanliness.
The main aim of Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) is to clean up the roads, streets and
smaller towns, infrastructure of India’s cities and rural areas. The deputation coordinator for Swachh Bharat Mission is Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation with
two sub-missions, Secretary, the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) and the Swachh
Bharat Mission (Gramin). The mission aims in educating the levels of cleanliness
through Solid and Liquid Waste Management activities and making villages Open
Defecation Free, sanitized and cleaned. The rural electrification is one of the goals
in SBM. The survey of the village was taken into consideration, and the village was
electrified with Swachh fuel. The awareness was given to the village youngsters
regarding the renewable energy and its importance. The segregation of waste produced from household and agricultural land was done as practical example in front
of a gathering in a public place. The SBM has a wide coverage over an area over the
years on ODF. The entire village was to be improved with Swachh fuel which is the
aim of SBM. The improved village has to be with facilities like infrastructure, education, health care, drinking water, irrigation water, sanitation and usage of renewable
energy in day-to-day life (Fig. 1).
