the network of copolymers (Isayeva and Kennedy 2004). By hydrosilylation of α,ωunsaturated polyoxyalkylenes with PMHS were prepared different silicone- organic
elastomer gels (Andre et al. 2000; Homrighausen and Keller 2002; Lin et al. 2012;
Kennan et al. 2010, Kennan and Messner 2010).
Recently, silicone elastomers and type RTV SRs,  were prepared from
poly(dimethylsiloxane-α,ω-diols), which were crosslinked with linear and branched
PMHS and PMHBS in the presence of DBTDL (Table 14.3) (Chruściel 2019).
As crosslinkers were used branched PMHS of the following chemical structures:

Elastic silicone (Chruściel et al. 2011c) and PU (Chruściel and Fejdyś 2012) foams
with a low density, controlled size of pores and decreased flammability were prepared using PMHS as a crosslinker and foaming agent. The self-extinguishing SFs
were obtained from polysiloxane mixtures (Chruściel et al. 2011d) composed of:
A. α,ω-(dihydroxy)polydimethylsiloxanes (PDMS-diols),
B. PDMS-diols and α,ω-bis(γ-hydroxypropyl)polydimethylsiloxanes (PDMS-X2),
C. PDMS-diols, PDMS-X2 and α,ω-bis(trimethylsiloxy)poly[dimethyl-comethyl(γ-hydroxypropyl)]siloxanes  - with the addition of different fire
retardants (FRs, mainly, melamine and/or expanded graphite) and water, crosslinkeed with branched polysiloxanes of random structures (T x D
