4.5 The Etomo Batch Tomogram Interface
IMOD includes a program, Batchruntomo, that can run the reconstruction steps
automatically, as well as an interface in Etomo for batch processing of tilt series that
have stereotyped parameters [29]. Use of these features can greatly increase the ease
and speed with which tomographic reconstructions can be computed. Batchruntomo
is controlled by text files containing “directives” that allow great flexibility in the
operations run and the parameters used. Many directives that set parameters for
