facilities. When a facility contacts NJME for help with their P2 strategies, it is first
asked to fill out a short questionnaire to help NJME prepare for the on-site assessment and to provide its specific concern to NJME regarding the facility. Facilities
are also requested to provide recent energy and utility bills so that possible suggestions for energy conservation and waste reductions can also be provided with
the assessment.
The on-site plant assessment is usually completed in a single day and involves the
following activities:
• NJME meets with the plant personnel.
• A tour of the facility is conducted.
