1. Collect blood (approximately 200–300 μL) from individual
mice from the neck after decapitation and allow to clot for
30 min at room temperature.
2. Centrifuge the samples at 20,000 Â g at 4
C for 15 min.
3. Transfer the serum to a new tube and repeat step 2.
4. Aliquot the serum and store at À80
C.
