44. Pipette the supernatant into a flask to discard being careful not
to disturb the cell pellet.
45. Gently flame the mouth of the 230 mL conical and cap tightly.
46. Place the 230 mL conical on a top loading balance and weigh
(subtract from initial weight to get the final pellet wet weight)

47. Thoroughly wrap the base of the cap with parafilm.
