Raimund Kinne. received. his. PhD. for. work. on.
ceramic.biomaterials.for.tooth.replacement..He.later.
focused.on.the.role.of.inflammatory.cells,.in.particular.
T-cells. and. macrophages,. in. the. pathogenesis. of.
inflammatory. arthritis.. Subsequent. research. topics.
blasts.to.joint.inflammation.and.destruction.in.rheumatoid.arthritis,.and.also.the.development.of.cartilage.
implants.and.calcium.phosphate.cement.for.the.treatment. of. vertebral. fractures.. He. became. an. associate.
professor. in. 2007. and. is. currently. involved. in. the.
Interdisciplinary.Center.of.Clinical.Research.as.well.
as. the. Center. for. Sepsis. Control. and. Care. at. the.
