essentiels. Les conclusions qui en découlent ne peuvent que dans certains cas être
transposables aux interactions protéine-métaux non physiologiques. Cette question de fond ne pourra être résolue sans la définition des structures des récepteurs,
enzymes et transporteurs impliqués dans la réponse au toxique. Cette compréhension des mécanismes moléculaires de reconnaissance pourrait avoir dans l’avenir
des implications importantes en toxicologie prédictive.
