processes and the marine logistics are designed at every level and for every discipline in such a way
that the components and the installation vessels to be used are available on demand when they are
needed. In addition, the installation of the turbines is now several times faster since the days of alpha
ventus. For example, under the most favourable conditions, Siemens can manage to install a turbine
in 16 hours. There has also been enormous progress in the area of crew transfers. Taken together, it ail
helps to make huge savings in costs.
