PROBLEM 7.3
Modify the application by making the following suggested changes while
keeping the rest of the data unchanged. Conduct the computer simulations,
then comment and explain the results.
1. Increase the pumping rate to 1.0, 6.0 and 9.0 m 3 /m/day.
2. Move the location of the well to a distance of 5 km from the shoreline.
3. Change the hydraulic conductivity to 200 and 1000 m/day.
4. Change the relative density difference to 0.01, 0.035 and 0.05.
5. At a distance of 5 km from the shoreline add a recharging well of
3.0 m 3 /m/day.
