The national colloquium "The sea and urban yvaste yvater disposais" was organized
at the Bendor island (France) from 13 to 15 june 1990 ; one hundred and fifty scientists
and fechnicians of Coastal zone sanitation participed to this meeting.
Ihis colloquium constituiez a synthesis ofthe study program conducted bylFREMER,
with thr i ollaboration of the Agence de Bassin Rhône-Méditerranée-Corse, on the waste
water disposai into the sea.
Ihr ttuun tapies of the colloquium concerned urban waste water disposais and
organic on nutrient enrichment, Coastal water salubrity, micropollutants, and mathematical
modelling as tool for research and prédiction. This volume gathers fifteen to the colloquium
contributions.
