was found, some areas of normal endometrium were also noted. Slijper
( 1 949) report(ct1 si milur findings, although fewer dotails were given. Uys
and Best ( 1966) not,ed fibromyornata in Physeter catadon (Linnaeus,
1758). Thest: were scen in a 10-7 rn r~ninlal which was approximately
19 years of itge. Thtl uterus " mass " weighed 112 1 g and metlsured
13 x I2 x 8.5 om. 'Phis mass was found iu the right cornua, although
several srnaller Inasses wchrc fi)uncl in the left, cornus. No degenerative
changes wcrc wen in itny of the tutnours whicbh hi~t~ologically resembled
the typicaal.fibrornyomi~.
