Georgia, obviously derived from Magellanic forms. The family Nuculanidae, however, is well represented, as it is in the Arctic, with six
genera. Four of the species are very characteristic Antarctic forms,
Propeleda longicaudatu (Thiele), Yoldia (Aequiyoldia) eightsi (Coutheuy ,
in Jay), Silicula rouchi Lamy and Malletia Sabrina Hedley, while one
or other of the species of Yoldiella is usually encountered in every area.
