Hynek's number is for neutrophils from the 6th day, and for eosinophils from the 15th
day of incubation (after Lemei, 1955). Data of Burmester et al. (1941) indicate the total
numbers of neutrophils, lymphocytes, and leucocytes. Data by Parhon et al. (1956)
(lowermost curve) include neutrophils only. (Ne = neutrophils; Eo = eosinophils ;
Ba = basophils ; Ly = lymphocytes ; Mo = monocytes. )
