Analyse de l’artificialisation de la zone côtière en Algérie :
Cas des wilayas d’Oran (Ouest) et de Tipaza (Centre)
RESUME
Cette étude a pour objectif de développer un cadre d’analyse pour la gestion du problème
d’artificialisation des sols côtiers. Nous nous sommes attachés à comprendre le problème de
l'artificialisation à travers deux wilayas pilotes (Oran et Tipaza), à décrire ses évolutions et à
étudier le système socio-économique de gestion de l'artificialisation par l’intégration des
systèmes d’informations géographiques (SIG), et donc d'avoir une vision globale. Cette aide
à la prise de décision est donc primordiale afin de comprendre les tendances futures de
l'évolution d'urbanisation dans le littoral Oranais et celui de Tipaza et afin de formuler de
recommandation de gestion pour maitriser le phénomène d’urbanisation au niveau des zones
côtières en Algérie.

ABSTRAT
The aims of this study is to develop an analytical framework for the management of the
coastal soil artificialization issue. We endeavored to understand the problem of
artificialisation through two pilot wilayas (Oran and Tipaza), to describe its evolutions and to
study the socio-economic management system of artificialisation by the integration of the
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to have a global vision. Therefore, this decisionmaking tool is essential for understanding future trends in the development of urbanization on
the Oran and Tipaza shorelines and for formulating management recommendations aimed at
controlling the urbanization phenomenon in the Algerian coastal areas.
